General

  • To fill in ICF you need ;

    1. A device (mobile phone, Laptop or tablet)
    2. Travel information
    3. Valid email address

  • No, you don’t need to fill out a separate ICF for children under 18. You can simply list their names on the parent’s ICF under Section 4 (Children).

  • ICF is required for Immigration, Customs, and travel safety purposes.

  • You can easy create a new email account for free at gmail or hotmail. Or you can ask the person that purchased your ticket for assistance

  • We would advise you to prevent any upholding or problems with boarding the aircraft that you fill in the form three days prior to departure from the cosey environment of your house or hotel.

  • ICF is mandatory. If you don’t fill in the form, you will not be able to board the flight

  • Your photo is used for identity verification and security purposes, similar to the process at other airports.

    By submitting your photo in advance through ICF, we can verify your identity before arrival, which speeds up the immigration process and reduces wait times.

  • For Mobile Devices:

    Step 1. Tap on the “Upload Photo”.
    Step 2. You may be prompted to:

    Take a Photo: Use your camera to take a new photo.
    Choose from Gallery: Select this to pick an existing photo from your gallery. (recent selfie)
    Step 3. After choosing or taking a photo, confirm it by tapping “Done” or “Confirm”.
    Step 4. Your photo has been successfully uploaded.

    For Desktops / Laptops / Computers :

    Step 1. Click on the “Upload Photo”.
    Step 2. A file explorer window will open. Locate and select your photo from the correct folder (recent selfie).
    Step 3. Click “Open” to upload, which will upload your photo automatically.

    Note: Some mobile devices may open the gallery directly. In that case, you may need to take a picture using your camera first to be able to upload the desired photo. (recent selfie)

  • No, the photo must be a recent, clear and unedited image without any filters or alterations. Filtered or edited images will not be accepted, as they may affect the accuracy of identity verification.

Immigration

  • Completing these forms is legally required for immigration clearance. It helps ensure efficient processing of passengers at arrival and departure.

  • Complete the form at www.icf.sr ideally 3 days before your international flight, or anytime prior to boarding.

  • Yes, ICF is required for nearly all international flights, even for layovers where passengers may not leave the airport.

  • You may be unable to board or subject to additional screening (SSSS – Secondary Security Screening Selection) upon arrival.

  • The ICF can only be completed online.

  • Airlines often have staff available at the airport to assist passengers in completing ICF digitally, however we strongly advise to fill out the ICF before you arrive at the airport. You can ask your travel agent or a family member to assist you. You may also contact the 24/7 ICF Support Center if you need personalized help.

  • No, a new ICF is required for each international trip. The information is only valid for 1 trip, so make sure to complete a new ICF for each journey.

  • If you lose your QR code, check your email for the reference number, which is identical to the QR code. You can present the reference number upon arrival.

  • You don’t need to keep the ICF QR code after your trip, as it expires once the journey is complete.

  • Failure to present the completed ICF upon arrival may cause delays at immigration and customs, and you could be subjected to additional screening.

  • No, once the ICF is submitted, changes cannot be made. Please verify all information before submitting the form to ensure accuracy.

  • The ICF typically asks for personal details such as your name, passport information, purpose of travel, stay details, and any goods you are declaring. Be sure to provide accurate and up-to-date information.

  • If your flight is delayed and the arrival time on your ICF is no longer accurate, notify immigration officials upon arrival. They will provide guidance on the next steps.

  • To avoid delays, it’s best to fill out the ICF a few days before your flight, either online or at the airport if needed.

  • If you find an error, correct it before submitting. If the mistake is discovered after submission, you can either fill out a new form or contact ICF support at support@icf.sr for assistance.

  • You must complete the ICF before boarding your flight. If you forget, you can fill it out on the ICF website (www.icf.sr) or before going to the Check-In Desk, prior to departure.

  • Many countries accept e-passports for entry and exit. Ensure that your e-passport is valid and follow the guidelines provided by destination authorities.

  • No, a recent live selfie is required.

Customs

  • Yes, the customs form may include specific questions about goods you are bringing in. Make sure to answer these questions fully and honestly to avoid issues with customs.

  • Yes, it is generally required to declare all items, including personal belongings, on the customs form. Be sure to follow the specific guidelines provided on the form.

  • Yes, different countries have various restrictions on items such as food, plants, and certain materials. Check the customs guidelines for your destination to ensure compliance.

  • In some cases, you may need to clear customs during a layover. Follow airport signs and instructions, and contact airline staff if you have concerns about the connection.

  • Be prepared with details such as the quantity, value, and description of goods being declared. Having receipts and invoices for purchased items can be helpful.

  • As long as it stays within the limitations of passengers well.

  • According to the latest decision of Foreign Exchange Commission no 225, one may not import or export more than 10,000 usd

  • Plants and flowers may travel to Suriname but must be inspected by Ministry of LVV.

  • Valuable works of art may be imported but must be declared to Customs

  • Yes, some countries have strict regulations regarding the importation of medications. Check the customs guidelines for your destination and carry prescriptions and necessary documentation.

  • Yes, transporting pets across borders involves specific regulations. Check with the airline and destination country’s authorities for guidelines on bringing pets.

  • Declare any items you are carrying for someone else on your customs form. Ensure you have necessary documentation, and be aware of any restrictions on transporting goods for others. Please note that you are fully responsible for any goods/items you declare.

  • Report lost or delayed baggage immediately to airline staff. Provide a detailed description of the contents, especially if you declared items on your customs form.

Health

  • Yes, it is recommended to keep your medicines in your hand luggage

  • You only need to provide yellow fever vaccination information in your ICF if you are arriving from, or transiting through, a country where yellow fever is present. Travelers from non-affected countries, such as the Netherlands, are not required to provide this information, although vaccination is recommended as a precaution.

  • Yes, as long as you are not arriving from a yellow fever-affected area. Travelers from countries without yellow fever are not required to have this vaccination.
